Run once on macOS
Download the Relay for Mac, choose Run once and read devices without keeping anything on the computer.
Download and open
Download the disk image
Select the macOS disk image (.dmg) on the Relay page.
Install the Relay
Open the disk image and move the Relay into Applications.
Open the Relay
Open the Relay from Applications. On first open, select Run once.
Fill in the Run once window
Fill in the fields, then select Add device and Read and deliver.
| Field | Enter |
|---|---|
| Workspace key | The active cpc_ key created in the destination workspace under Settings > Relay. |
| Address | Reachable management hostname or IP. |
| Device | The matching device or management platform. |
| Read over | API or SSH, where that device supports it. |
| User | The dedicated vendor account, not your ConfigProof sign-in. |
| Password or API key | The credentials for the selected device. Use the vendor credentials guide. |
Read and deliver
Add the devices
Select Add device for each device. Each row shows its state.
Read and deliver
Select Read and deliver and keep the Relay open until every row has a state.
Check the result
The last line says Delivered N of M. Run once keeps nothing on the computer: no credential, no reading, no saved delivery.
Open the analysis
Open the delivery in ConfigProof. Analysis normally starts automatically; complete any selection requested.
When a delivery does not go
For a failed read, follow the result message. A delivery that does not go is not saved for later: run it again.
